In 1994, we chose the small coastal town of Parrsboro as the head office for RMA Tourism. Using his strong qualifications in business development and knowledge of the tourism sector, RMA's senior planner, Thomas Young (BA, BBA, MBA) focused on planning and strategic development in rural areas of Atlantic Canada. In 1998, Mr. Young was joined by Terri McCulloch (expert in tourism services and public relations) and Julie MacMillan (human resource development professional). Over the intervening 10 years, we kept small town our home, but assumed a global perspective to tourism, working across Atlantic Canada, specializing in tourism product development planning and strategy development.
